I’m a great fan of , although it still has some issues. The 2008 report on Social Network Downtime from pingdom states:

LinkedIn’s downtime has been increasing over the year. Each quarter has seen a larger amount of downtime than the one before it. 63% of its downtime took place during the second half of 2008.

LinkedIn seems to be on a trend toward increasing amounts of downtime, […] and even clearer in the quarterly breakdown. 63% of its downtime took place during the second half of 2008.

Fox on The Presidential Race

I love following the US Presidential on YouTube or Fox Attacks, Obama went on Fox News and what ever I may think of either candidate I really hoped Barrack Husane Obama rips them a new one, in the style of Bill Clinton’s earlier Fox News Sunday performance. He didn’t.

Telecom Filibuster

After the House approves overhaul of wiretap laws I was pointed to this article Obama Camp Says It: He’ll Support Filibuster Of Any Bill Containing Telecom Immunity. Apparently Obama (his campaign) had already said in October of 2007 that they would.

Sadly as I read in the NYT Senate Approves Bill to Broaden Wiretap Powers In fact “…on Wednesday, he [Obama] ended up voting for what he called ‘an improved but imperfect bill’ after backing a failed attempt earlier in the day to strip the immunity provision from the bill through an amendment.” Clinton voted against the bill.
