Screen Recording

I’ve been asked to create a video tutorial for a project I’m working on. So I decided to try the QuickTime feature. It was simple to do and set up.

One of the advantages, besides being native and free, was that I was able to select only fragment of the screen to record. I would have liked to record one application, so I could switch between windows without it effecting the video.

I wonder whether I could output to a FIFO and stream it to the network using VLC… 😉
