Why do fliers drink far more tomato juice in the air than they do on the ground? It tastes better up there; less acidic. And other fascinating tidbits:
* Airborne air pressure numbs one third of taste buds.
* Delta shaved 1 ounce from its steaks and saved $250k/year.
* Delta dumbed 1 strawberry from salads and saved $210k/year.
* Delta gives out 61 million bags of pretzels, thus 1-cent increase costs $610k/year.
* Korean Air has its own farm.
