I watched a double episode of Criminal Intent yesterday. And I had just finished watching Bonfire, when I though I should look up Vincent D’Onofrio, who I think is a brilliant actor. I needed something to contrast with the butchering interpretation of Tom Wolfe’s novel.
I found Five Minutes Mr. Welles, seeing D’Onofrio playing Orson Welles made me like him even more. There is something about his playing which seems slightly off when I started watching it, but he seems to get in it more and more. Perhaps it’s the transitional nature of the character.
